India has thousands of deaf athletes like Bhavani Kedia competing at national and international levels, but there is almost no specialized coaching infrastructure for them. Most deaf athletes train with hearing coaches who lack sign language skills and understanding of deaf-specific training needs, creating a barrier to performance improvement and medal wins.
