As women playwrights gain institutional support and funding (the primary signal), theatres, production houses, and arts councils need qualified readers/dramaturgists to evaluate, develop, and champion these scripts—roles historically gatekept by male-dominated literary circles. This evaluation infrastructure doesn't exist at scale in India, creating a bottleneck between script creation and production.
